Habe gesehen, dass die Buden Server ein VAC Symbol haben. Wenn man hier cheatet wird man durch Steam dauerhaft gebannt?

It also adds new session property OpponentSkill, with valid values being 0-100. This is the average skill of AI opponents in the race, if AI is enabled.

Perfect timing Ribo, as I was just about to post up about this in another thread.

Firstly let's deal with the SMS-R Driver Network Championship...

The Championship was first initiated in order to provide an avenue where the most devoted & talented players could shine. Immediately at launch we saw this take off as it garnered the attention of a number of pro players and teams.

With that, we also gained a lot of experience: certain weaknesses within the game were exposed, and we rapidly had to evolve a growing set of rules & regulations in order to maintain the integrity of the season and the trust of the players.

Along the way, there's been equal amounts of excitement and dismay as players fight for valuable Championship Standings points and high representation in the Power Rankings, whilst also we continue to see areas of the game that are susceptible to cheating and rule-breaking.

As we approach the end of the season, and given our new eSports accreditation, we're at a critical point therefore where our priority is in ensuring the remaining rounds operate with as much automation and trust as possible therefore. Ie.. with as little need for human post-event verification as possible. If the game penalises you for your driving, then that is the final say. This means addressing two main areas where we see cheating...

- Using the pits to gain a time advantage
- Not getting penalised for more than 2 wheels off-track

We will continue to look at the mechanics of these, as well as the most prominent tracks and adjust where necessary for the remaining rounds.

As you'll have seen, the top of the Championship Standings are getting tighter, and the season is attracting the attention of new eSport teams every week so it's imperative that the remainder of the season sets a good example and creates a great base for the future. With the addition of our dedicated eSports Co-ordinator, Joe, our new regular web feature "DRIVE", and our plans starting to coalesce for the final round it's our intention to double down on the season and getting back to full health.

The roadmap to this is:

- Taking a look at the remaining rounds and their susceptibility to potential cheating, and making adjustments
- Making some tough decisions on current rounds for the benefit of the season long-term (eg.. voiding Round 15)
- Seeing what additional tech can be done for future Feature Updates (eg.. continued work on our Cut Track Detection System)
- Expand and enhance communication of the championship via this forum and a new dedicated eSports website

Actually, let me stop there for this evening as I want it to be clear that we're taking the SMS-R Driver Network Championship very seriously and I believe the participants would appreciate knowing as such before moving on to other topics such as ESL and our live events.

I'll return to this thread subsequently to cover those (will make it easier to quote from smaller posts like this rather than one large one too).

Erster Test stimmt schonmal vorsichtig optimistisch.
Sonst hatte ich in den letzten Wochen immer nach ziemlich genau 40 Minuten einer Session nen Absturz, jetzt grad ne komplette 60 Minuten Trainingssession ohne Zwischenfälle abgespult.

Na das ist doch Prima!
Dann hoffe ich Stepan hat das Wetter der Lua Scripten auch wieder gefixt...
Das geht seit dem (vor?)Letzten Update nämlich auch nimmer...statt dem Eingestellten "Echten" Wetter geht alles nur noch auf "Zufällig" = Regen...

Frage: bekomme nach dem Patch7.0 keine Multiplayersitzungen mehr angezeigt. mach ich was falsch, oder liegt es am Spiel.

ist jemand am Verhalten der Server 3 und 4 beim joinen oder Session Wechsel oder wenn der Host die Session verläßt etwas auf gefallen?

Hab vor ein paar Tagen (ca. 1 Woche) was umgestellt und würde jetzt gerne wissen ob es Negative Auswirkungen hatte...
